Building on a validated market outlook and proven technical roadmap, Vibede plans to construct a new Phase II facility of 25,000 sqm of advanced manufacturing space, deploying 1,000 MPCVD units dedicated to the scaled production of large single-crystal diamond materials. This strategic capacity expansion is designed to provide reliable, cutting-edge material solutions to partners across thermal management, semiconductors, optoelectronics, and advanced industrial sectors.
Phase II equipment will be custom-manufactured by suppliers commissioned through the Chinese Academy of Sciences — teams with a long track record of producing vacuum equipment for the China Academy of Engineering Physics, institutes under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, research institutes of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), and the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST). The mass production of 4-inch large single-crystal diamond represents a leading technical threshold in the industry; per-carat CVD costs have already reached parity with HPHT on a single-unit basis. Small-batch qualification is currently underway with leading customers in semiconductor thermal management and power electronics; Phase II capacity will be prioritized for partners who sign offtake agreements.
